Build things that actually ship

We're a senior-led team working across AI, engineering, data, cloud, design and growth — for Fortune 500s and growth-stage startups alike. Small teams, real ownership, and work that reaches production instead of a slide.

How we work

Principles that shape how we work

Seven things that decide how a day here actually goes. Read them as commitments you can hold us to in an interview.

  • 01Own the outcome, not the ticket

The person who scopes the work does the work and stays with it after launch. Nobody hands a half-finished thing over a wall.

  • 02Senior by default

There is no large junior bench and no hand-off after the sales call. You'll be trusted early, and expected to use that trust well.

  • 03Do the simple thing that works

We pick the boring, provable option over the clever one when both solve the problem. Complexity has to earn its place.

  • 04Ship it, then prove it

Work is real when it's in production with numbers attached. Demos, prototypes and decks are steps on the way, not the destination.

  • 05Use AI honestly

We build with AI daily and expect you to. That means knowing where it helps, where it quietly fails, and being able to defend every line you keep.

  • 06Say the hard thing early

Bad news travels fast here — to each other and to clients. A date at risk is a conversation this week, not a surprise next month.

  • 07Cross the disciplines

Engineers sit close to design, data and growth. You'll learn the parts of the product you don't own, because that's what makes the part you do own good.

Benefits

How we support you

Specifics vary a little by country and contract type — we'll walk you through exactly what applies to your role before you're asked to decide on anything.

    • Health insurance for you and your immediate family
    • Paid time off, plus public holidays in your region
    • Parental leave for all new parents, however you become one
    • Mental-health support and time off when you need it
    • No-questions sick leave — being ill isn't a negotiation
Hiring

How we hire

Five steps, typically two to three weeks end to end. You'll know where you stand at every stage, and we'll tell you who you're meeting before you meet them.

  1. 01

    Application

You apply on this page. A person on the hiring team reads it — no keyword filter decides your outcome. Expect a reply either way, usually within five working days.

  2. 02

    Intro call · 30 min

A conversation about what you want to be doing next, what you've built, and whether the role is honestly a fit. You'll get room to ask us hard questions.

  3. 03

    Practical exercise

A short, paid-for-your-time task close to real work — not puzzles, not whiteboard trivia. Take-home or live, whichever suits you better.

  4. 04

    Team conversation

You meet the people you'd actually work alongside, walk through your exercise, and dig into how you think when something goes wrong.

  5. 05

    Decision and offer

A clear yes or no with real feedback, plus the full picture on scope, compensation and start date before you're asked to decide.

Before you apply

Three things worth reading first

How we feel about you using AI, how to tell a real approach from a scam, and how to ask for adjustments.

  • Using AI in your application

We build AI systems for a living, so it would be strange to pretend you won't use one. Use AI to research us, tighten your writing or sanity-check your exercise — that's fine, and it's what the job looks like.

    • Tell us where you used it. A line in your notes is enough — it counts in your favour, not against you.
    • Don't let it answer for you. In interviews we want your reasoning, live and unassisted.
    • Own everything you submit. If you can't explain a decision in your exercise, don't ship it.
  • Your safety matters to us

Recruitment fraud is common in our industry. Every genuine Noseberry role is listed on this page, and every genuine conversation comes from a @noseberry.com address.

    • We never ask for payment, deposits or 'training fees' at any stage.
    • We never ask for bank details, ID documents or card numbers before a signed offer.
    • We don't interview over chat apps alone or make offers without a call.
  • Adjustments and accessibility

If anything about the process would put you at a disadvantage — a disability, a health condition, caring responsibilities, or a time zone that makes our default hours unreasonable — say so in the application notes. We'll change the format, not lower the bar.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, but selectively. We run a six-month engineering internship in Noida with a real team, a real repository and a mentor — interns ship to production, and many stay on. Outside that, most openings expect a few years of hands-on experience because of how much ownership each role carries.

Yes. Everyone who reaches a call gets a specific reason, not a template. If you're declined at the application stage we'll tell you that quickly so you're not left waiting.

Please do. We suggest waiting around six months, or applying sooner if you've picked up the specific thing that was missing last time — mention it in your notes and we'll pick up where we left off.

Normally a week, and we'll extend that if you're waiting on another process or need to sort out notice, relocation or family logistics. We'd rather you decide properly than fast.

It depends on the role and the country. Relocation support is available for on-site roles in our own locations; visa sponsorship is decided case by case and we'll be straight with you about it on the first call rather than at offer stage.

Some are. Each listing states whether it's remote, hybrid or on-site, and hybrid roles have core overlap hours set by the team rather than by a company-wide rule. We don't advertise a role as remote and then quietly change it.
